The Songwriting and Production Lab gives students the chance to write, record, and produce their own original music in a fun, collaborative setting. Guided by music director Pete, students explore modern songwriting, learn the basics of recording and production, and work together to create 1 - 2 songs that will be mixed, mastered, and released on major streaming platforms.

This is a short, four week program designed for students who want to experience the full creative process without committing to a full season class. Students will get hands on experience with every stage of production, from brainstorming song ideas to arranging parts, recording, and refining their tracks. The focus is on creativity, teamwork, and developing an understanding of how great songs come together from start to finish.
